How amazing to hear your voice, Joss ~ as others have commented, it’s mellifluous, soothing, the voice of someone I can trust. And your words tap into my own experience and philosophy. I share your acceptance of the ugly side of life, preferring to focus on the magic gifts that surround me. I’ve been upset over the past few days but listening to your reading has calmed me! Thank you!

it’s always a choice isn’t it? to get caught up in the “stuff” of life, of the past, of others, or to walk in beauty. It’s not a choice you make once for all, but a daily, sometimes moment to moment decision. Blessings to you, my friend.

Thank you Barb. I once had a co-worker tell me if I every quit my day job, I should think about working for a sex line!! this was after I’d set up voice mail throughout the facility and the default message was my voice. I wasn’t quite sure how to take his comment so I like yours much better!

I felt just the same listening to your voice, Joss. You’re teaching me so much about compassionate listening. As Thich Naht Hanh was saying in his Super Soul Sunday share with Oprah – to be with one and simply listen with the energy of ‘darling, I am here for you’ – without trying to fix it – is compassionate and true listening. You have that gift. I wouldn’t have expected it to shine through your ability to read and share poetry through your own voice, and yet it comes through beautifully. I’m excited for your Pause for Poetry events, as although I may be facilitating, I’m certain I’ll be experiencing the journey along with all those present. It’s an absolute honor, my friend.
Love what Sue Dreamwalker commented. So true. xoxoxo
